BBC announced on March 25 that they decided not to renew Jeremy Clarkson’s contract for “Top Gear” after the star of the show was suspended on 10th March following a violent dispute with the producers. Subsequently, his colleagues, Richard Hammond and James May, co-presentors of “Top Gear” refused to continue working with the BBC.
Last year, Clarkson received a final warning from the BBC, after being accused of racist expression used while filming an episode of the TV show “Top Gear”. That incident was the latest in a long series of controversial moments – heavily commented and criticized – in which the British star was involved.
